Matching Grant Met!

In late November 2019 we started our new fundraising goal in our church building project: to raise $300,000 toward the earth work on our property! This will include moving dirt, forming the hillside, putting in roads and parking, etc.

To kick us off, a group of generous donors offered a $75,000 matching grant. The original expiration date of this grant was Pascha (Orthodox Easter), but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that deadline was moved to our patronal feast in mid-July.

We are very excited and grateful to announce that we did indeed meet this matching challenge, and raised over $75,000, bringing us to a current total of over $155,000 in only 8 months! Thank you everyone who have contributed toward our project so far!

We now have an additional $145,000 to raise before we can begin the site work on our property. In the meanwhile we have completed the construction and staining of our perimeter fence, and we will begin the sewer work on the property in the next couple of weeks!
